As a kid growing up in the middle Tennessee area I had always been involved with sports. I began with water sports learning to ski, wakeboard, and Slolam by age 12, not only was I an active water kid I also played soccer and had a very active childhood playing multiple sports throughout school. Athletics lead me to study a degree in Health and Human Performance at Cumberland University.
Studying health and human performance was extremely intriguing for me and I soon found myself completely intertwined in learning as much as I could. I opted to pursue a specific route in strength and conditioning. I didn’t necessarily have a soul desire to become a strength and conditioning coach, but i knew they had the knowledge base for proper technique, injury prevention, and periodization that I needed and desired for success. While being an athlete myself and learning the methodology of effective training, I began to theorize taking all of this knowledge and providing it to people who never had the opportunity to experience fitness in such a way. So from that point forward I have been thinking of and creating ways to give general fitness my own twist created from my knowledge intensive background of strength and conditioning.
If you are someone who wants to become active or make a positive change in your life through fitness but desire to do it the right way through learning proper technique along with knowledgable advice to create a full picture instead of a partial one, then I would love to help. My overall motivation is to provide the knowledge I have gained to those who want to make a change for the better. Whether you are looking to become lighter, gain strength, become active, or improve your overall fitness and create a positive helpful relationship to improve your body and mind; then I’m here to help.
